Anne-Marie Duff is an English actor and narration. Duff, who graduated from Drama Centre London in 1990 and made her first TV appearances in Trial & Retribution Amongst Women and Aristocrats. She became famous for playing Fiona Gallagher in the first two seasons UK television series Shameless. Then she played Queen Elizabeth I in The Virgin Queen (2006) and was also the main character in the show From Darkness in 2015. Duff is famous for her role as a character in Enigma (2002) The Magdalene Sisters French Film (2008) The Last Station Nowhere Boy Before I Go to Sleep (2014), and Suffragette. In 2015, The Virgin Queen, Shameless The Virgin Queen, Nowhere Boy Suffragette, The Last Station have earned her BAFTA nominations as Best Actress as well as Best Supporting Actress. The History of Mr Polly (2007) was her BAFTA Cymru Award winning performance as Best Actress. Anne-Marie Duff has been a popular award-winning English Actress who created her own mark on stages, on radio and in television. Her fame was largely due to her performances in the role of Fiona Gallagher on the British comedy drama television series Shameless, and the role of Queen Elizabeth on the television show The Virgin Queen. Anne-Marie has also a lengthy career of stage performances as well as extensive involvement for her company, the Royal National Theatre.
